Euromix™ Patch Coarse (5L) is a water-based, acrylic polymer compound ideal for jointing, patching, or thin coat rendering over a range of masonry and sheet substrates. This medium-grain, easy-to-apply compound is suitable for both interior and exterior applications, offering smooth feathered finishes with excellent adhesion and durability.

Applications

• Used as a thin coat render (up to 2mm), bedding, or patching compound
• Suitable for AAC panels/blocks, fibre cement sheeting, EPS, and polymer linings
• Effective as a jointing compound for FC and other sheet materials
• Can be used indoors and outdoors (external use should include 5–10% Portland Cement for extra strength)

Installation Tips

• Recommended for use by experienced contractors and tradespeople
• Ensure substrate is clean, dry, and free of contaminants
• Mask off architectural features and protect surrounding surfaces
• Stir thoroughly with a power stirrer before application
• Apply at 1–2mm thickness using a trowel and finish in circular motion with a plastic float
• Maintain a wet edge and avoid overworking to prevent patchiness
• Multiple coats can be applied if thicker finish is required; allow 24 hours curing between coats
• For thicknesses above 2mm, consider using Euromix™ Acrylic Renders
• Do not apply in windy conditions or if temperature is outside 10°C–30°C
• Protect newly applied areas from moisture for a minimum of 12–24 hours
