Euromix™ Skim Coat (20kg) is a pre-blended, acrylic-enhanced, cement-based finishing render designed for smooth and textured finishes over base coat renders. When mixed with water and Euromix™ Bond, this render delivers a durable, weather-resistant finish suitable for a wide range of common building substrates. Ideal for internal and external applications, it can be floated or sponged to achieve a fine, even finish.

Installation Tips

• For best results, apply using experienced tradespeople familiar with acrylic rendering
• Ensure all substrates are clean, dry, and free from contaminants (e.g. grease, dust, moss, or loose material)
• Mask all windows and trim to avoid splashes and spills

Mixing Instructions

1. Prepare a solution of Euromix™ Bond and water as per manufacturer instructions
2. Pour the solution into a clean mixing bucket
3. Gradually add Euromix™ Skim Coat powder while mixing with a mechanical or concrete mixer
4. Mix until a smooth, lump-free consistency is achieved
5. Render should hold a stiff peak on the hawk – do not overmix
6. Only mix what can be used within one (1) hour

Application Guidelines

1. Apply using hawk and trowel in layers of 2–3mm maximum thickness
2. Level with a straight edge when firm, then float with suitable float (polyurethane, polystyrene, or wood)
3. For a fine texture, sponge finish the surface to bring sand to the top
4. Do not reuse partially set or spilled material – discard appropriately
