It is ideal for use as a dampcourse in masonry walls and also functions as a waterproofing layer on flat roofs, under water tanks, or between construction layers. The product is resistant to lime and mortar, making it a dependable and economical choice for a wide range of waterproofing and damp-proofing applications.

Installation Tips / Usage Guidelines

• For timber roofs, nail the first underlayer of felt to the decking parallel to the drainage fall using 20mm galvanised clout nails at 150mm centres
• Overlap second and subsequent sheets by 50mm, sealing overlaps with bitumen paint
• Bond each layer with bitumen paint for added waterproofing and stability
• Use “welted aprons” for edge detailing
• Finish with a coat of silver aluminium-based paint for UV protection
