Acrylic and solvent based primer designed to improve the performance of Euromix® coatings when applied over render and many other surfaces. Euromix® Sealer/Primer seals the surface of most substrates, providing more uniform absorption rates, higher bond strengths and extended coverage for subsequent Euromix® Texture and Paint coats. A clear solvent based primer and sealer, which when applied correctly, provides a highly water resistant penetrative film, suitable for use on most porous building substrates. Euromix® Solvent Sealer is also suitable for use as a clear waterproof sealer that improves resistance to the ingress of rainwater and salt spray.

Applications

• Ideal for use on ceramic tiles, porcelain, vitrified tiles, glass, PVC, metals, and vinyl surfaces
• Perfect for both wall and floor applications
• Recommended base coat prior to applying Euromix™ patches, textures, and renders on non-porous surfaces
• Can be applied over existing water-based paints and waterproofing membranes

Installation Tips

• Only apply to sound, clean, dry, and stable surfaces
• Allow alkaline surfaces (like new concrete) to cure for at least 28 days
• Mask and protect surrounding areas before application
• Fill any cracks or surface defects before priming

Application Guidelines

1. Stir well with a power stirrer before use – do not dilute
2. Apply with a long-bristle brush or roller
3. Maintain a ‘wet edge’ during application to avoid lap marks
4. Only one coat is necessary in most cases
5. Apply in temperatures between 10°C and 32°C
6. Protect freshly coated surfaces from rain and moisture for at least 12–24 hours
7. Do not apply if rain or frost is expected during curing
