A flexible, lightweight, closed cell, cross-linked, polyethylene foam expansion joint and space filler. In concrete and brickwork Abelflex has excellent recovery properties.

Uses

• Ideal as a gap filler and bond breaker for floor and wall expansion joints, filling systems for roads, motorways, bridges, walls and automotive applications.
• In joints where polystyrene or bitumen impregnated fillers have been used, Abelflex is ideal as a bondbreaker. Often necessary because of the sealant incompatibility with these forms of fillers.
• Suitable as a back-up filler for most liquid sealant
• Ideal for stopping contaminants such as soil entering into expansion slots and joints
